Architecture Technical Manager, Advanced Development

The role of a team lead in the Advanced Development team, is to lead a team of architects in the pursuit of solving difficult and complex challenges across numerous technological fields, related to the modern data center, such as distributed AI and deep learning solutions, data analytics, High Performance Computing (HPC), Software Defined Networking (SDN), virtualization, storage, and more.

What you’ll be doing:

• Mentoring architects both personally & technically.

• Working across teams to drive overall technical strategy.

• Lead proof-of-concept development to evaluate and drive new technologies.

What we need to see:

• Hold a B.Sc, M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering from a leading university (or equivalent experience).

• Previous 4+ years of experience in managing an architecture group.

• 6+ overall years of industry experience in systems architecture or related fields (or equivalent).

• Background in algorithm design, system programming, and computer architecture.

• Possess strong managerial, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

• Good presentation skills with the ability to explain sophisticated ideas.

Ways to stand out of the crowd:

• Have experience in leading a full development cycle of a complex technological solution - from architecture to deployment.

• Have experience and passion for system architecture, CPU/GPU/memory/storage/networking.

• Stellar communication skills.

The base salary range is $216,000 - $414,000.
