We are seeking an experienced technology professional for the position of Lead Design Engineer to product development for GeForce/Quadro/Tesla, server, and automotive platform.  We have crafted a team of exceptional people stretching around the globe, whose mission is to push the frontiers of what is possible today and define the platform for the future of AI computing.

What you will be doing:

  • Hardware Design for Server System, self-driving computer, and GeForce, Quadro, Tesla GPU products.

  • Research in advance for new circuit and board level solution for futures of new generation chip. Work with component vendors for some customized parts.

  • Schematic concept design, component selection and Bill of Material generation with cost optimization.

  • Board/System level Hardware debug and verification. Guide design validation engineer for signal measurement.

  • Responsible for product design issue in the life cycle.

  • DC/DC Power design, debugging and measurement. And work with power solution vendors to drive technologies innovations.

  • Partner with SI, EMI, Layout engineer, mechanical engineer, and PCB operation team to optimize layout routing and PCB stack up.

  • Co-work with silicon solution team for chip level bring up.

  • Co-work with software engineers on debug and FA.

  • Collaborate with SI/EMC engineers for signal quality and EMC issue.

What we need to see:

  • BS/MSEE, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of system and circuit/board design experience.

  • Experience with high-speed board design techniques.

  • Experience with design tools (such as OrCAD, Concept, Allegro, etc.).

  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects from specification through to production.

  • Experience with at least 4 of the following: Design for Manufacturing; Design for Compliance (EMI, Safety); Signal Integrity; PCI-E bus; PCB layout design; PCB fabrication and assembly; Board level bring-up, debug, and verification; Automotive product design.

  • Deep system knowledge of at least 2 of the following areas: DC/DC Power design. Debugging and measurement; Desktop PC motherboards; Notebook computers; Tablet; Smartphone; Graphics or Automotive product design.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in Board level pre layout and post layout simulations for signal integrity analysis.

  • Background in high-volume, low-cost applications.

  • Understanding of VLSI design process and bring-up.
