Organize our data mining activities, helping teams worldwide to mine for the specific and high-quality data they need.
Research, implement and evaluate innovative automated data mining solutions around geo-information system databases, computer vision and deep-learning-based technologies.
Help with identifying and solving user needs and onboard users onto our data mining platform.
Build and apply tools to process, analyze, and visualize large datasets.
The work is exciting, diverse, and very ambitious. We have deadlines, competition and truly challenging problems.
What we need to see:
BS/MS/PhD in CS, CE, EE, EECS, Robotics, or related engineering or computer science (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of work experience .
Solid experience with Python, SQL (e.g., Postgres/PostGIS), and Linux.
A proactive, organized, and communicative mind that is excited about keeping track of many moving pieces to enable us providing exactly the data our users need when they need it.
Working knowledge of modern software development practices such as code review, automated testing, and continuous integration. Experience with programming for parallel and distributed architectures is a plus.
Practical experience with machine learning is a plus, specifically deep learning, computer vision, or robotics for autonomous driving.
Evidence that you can seek solutions for hard unsolved problems, build working systems, and are an all-rounder with many interests and novel ideas.
