We are seeking a Validation Engineer to join our Datacenter System Engineering Team. This is your opportunity to help build NVIDIA’s next generation of Enterprise-Class Server Computing products for the HGX and DGX product lines! You will collaborate with a team of HW/SW engineers to develop and implement complex test plans for our industry leading GPU accelerated computing product to address sophisticated technical issues along the way. You will possess a balance of skills that include electrical engineering, knowledge of software, firmware, and embedded systems. What you will be doing:

  • Debug and validation of NVIDIA 's datacenter products like the DGX A100 and HGX A100.

  • Work with design engineers, software engineers, program and technical leads, silicon design engineers, and thermal/mechanical engineers for product design, validation, and debug, to ensure quality products are brought to market.

  • Be among the first internal ‘customers’ for early prototypes of a new product and help clear the path for release to our external customers by solving tough system and board level issues.

  • Validation will include CPU, GPU, AC and DC power solutions, NVLink, PCIe, I2C, I3C, JTAG, UART, USB, SPI, and many others.

  • PHY layer electrical testing and debug using Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other lab equipment.

  • System level performance testing using industry leading Deep Learning/AI applications.

  • Scripting and automation of sophisticated test plans.

What We Need to See:

  • You are completing a BSEE or BSCE or equivalent experience.

  • Hardware/software debug experience.

  • Experience with Linux OS & command line operation.

  • Deep understanding of computing architectures.

  • Some exposure to programming and scripting languages such as C/C++, Python, Java Script, and Linux CLI

  • Strong verbal and written skills.

  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast passed environment where every day is a new challenge.

  • A passion for learning and working on the cutting edge of technology.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with BMC, server management processors.

  • Background with system level validation, IO interconnect, PCI-Express high-speed data switches.

  • Understanding of DC/DC power supply operation and all sensor feedback control.

  • Experience with x86/Arm architectures and accelerated GPU computing.

The base salary range is $88,000 - $166,750. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
