The GeForce NOW Platform team is responsible for the Architecture, Performance and Efficiency of Cloud Gaming Servers used in current and upcoming hardware generations.
What you'll be doing:
Deep dive Performance Analysis of Cloud Gaming Workloads and finding bottlenecks
Identify Performance Optimization opportunities at various layers of the stack including Driver, Compiler and Game Engine
Leverage unique understanding of CPU, GPU, DRAM and Interconnects to influence Game Performance
Writing Benchmarks
Enhancing Performance Analysis tools and simulators
What we need to see:
MS or BS (or equivalent experience), CS/EE and at least 3+ years of related industry experience
Knowledge of Graphics APIs like Direct X, Vulkan or Metal
Experience with Bottleneck Analysis of Games
Knowledge of Modern Rendering Techniques and GPU Architecture
Development with C/C++
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience working with Game Engines
Background with Kernel Mode Drivers and OS/Hypervisor on Windows/Linux
Micro architectural knowledge of CPU, Interconnects and DRAM
