Familiar with multiple security standards, perhaps written papers or involved in creating/updating standards. As a Principal Security Architect, you will not only be ensuring NVIDIA’s products are compliant with the relevant security standards, but you will have a chance to define how we improve our processes to build the next generation of safe and secure products using AI technology for autonomous applications. What you'll be doing:

  • Develop new and improve existing NVIDIA security processes, templates and methodologies

  • Drive and support engineering activities according to security standards during all project phases (concept, product development, product design, development, validation, production).

  • Build metrics to measure product security and the performance of security process

  • Be a leader in internal security process assessments across NVIDIA's SW organization on automotive projects.

  • Set the standards for providing early feedback to software development teams on assessments to allow them to begin addressing findings as soon as possible

  • Develop training materials and coach development teams so that they can successfully build high security products; understand compliance issues and assessment findings.

  • Monitor and provide feedback on security compliance status. Provide recommendations for effective and efficient implementation.

  • Support internal/external security process/product audits.

  • Support automotive customer engagements through pre-sales and execution

  • Work with external assessor/certification organizations as needed

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of embedded software security experience.

  • Solid understanding of and experience in security methodology, standards, software methods, procedures, tools, and customer-related processes.

  • Hands-on engineering experience in automotive software.

  • Hands-on experience with tools that support security engineering lifecycle.

  • Industry experience with ISO 21434

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Direct experience crafting and reviewing one or more TARAs

  • Participation in crafting and/or updating security standards

  • Presenter in security conferences

  • Experience working alongside safety assessors

The base salary range is $268,000 - $414,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
