Senior Compiler Engineer - HPC
NVIDIA’s HPC Compiler Team wants to hire a Compiler Developer to join the team building one of the world's most important optimizing compilers. If you want a front-row seat to pioneering compiler development in high-performance computing, then we want you! NVIDIA's invention of the GPU revolutionized parallel computing. Our GPUs are being used in many of the largest high performance computing projects around the world, solving real world problems. Our products are used to build and parallelize the most meaningful scientific applications in the world for weather modeling, climatology, fluid dynamics and defense. We support real science and scientists throughout the world.
What you'll be doing:
Designing and implementing new features for high-performance CPUs and GPUs
Working with application teams to tackle interesting and meaningful compilation problems
Partnering with team members on projects as related to high-performance computing and optimizations
Interacting directly with teams in the open source community
What we need to see:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, ECE or related (Ph.D. or Masters preferred) or equivalent experience
6+ years experience developing production quality compilers or tools or equivalent
Proven understanding of compiler internals, front-ends, and optimizers
Knowledge of programming fundamentals, especially in C/C++, with a deep understanding of parallel computer architectures and optimizations
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with the EDG compiler front end or LLVM is a huge plus
Familiarity with C++, OpenMP, and OpenACC standards
You have a real passion for compiler development
Highly motivated with problem solving skills

The base salary range is $176,000 - $333,500. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
