Senior Compiler Engineer - PVA
We are now looking for a Senior Compiler Engineer in our PVA Tools Team! NVIDIA has revolutionized parallel computing, and the development of the CUDA programming model fueled its power. While CUDA was targeted for GPU, we believe that it can drive other compute architectures. NVIDIA is developing a powerful compute platform (PVA) focused on vision and deep learning applications. PVA is being used in many of the largest autonomous vehicle and robotics projects in the world, solving real world problems.
NVIDIA’s PVA Tools Team wants to hire an experienced compiler developer to join the team building optimizing compilers for our platform. You will be joining a team bringing parallelization to standard language features. Your work will drive the future of C++, and CUDA as well as neural network description languages such as ONNX and Triton. What you'll be doing:
Designing and implementing new features for PVA platform
Working with application teams to solve interesting and relevant compilation problems
Working closely with team members on projects as related to compiler development
Using open source and other existing technologies in the compiler development process.
What we need to see:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, ECE or related (Ph.D. or Masters preferred) or equivalent experience
8+ years experience developing production quality compilers and tools
Deep understanding of compiler internals, front-ends, and optimizers
Knowledge of programming fundamentals, especially in C/C++, with an understanding of parallel computer architectures and optimizations.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with LLVM and MLIR is a huge plus!
Familiarity with C++, CUDA
Knowledge and experience with DL networks
Have a real passion for compiler development and are highly motivated to work on groundbreaking technologies

The base salary range is $176,000 - $333,500. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
