We are now looking for a Senior CPU Silicon Validation Engineer! NVIDIA is currently seeking an experienced Silicon Engineer with strong CPU and verification fundamentals to work in NVIDIA's next generation CPU bringup team. NVIDIA builds CPUs that power the coming wave of self-driving cars with high-end SoCs such as Orin ( https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2019/12/17/orin-soc/ ) or Grace, the CPU for AI and High Performance Computing workloads ( https://nvidianews.nvidia.com/news/nvidia-announces-cpu-for-giant-ai-and-high-performance-computing-workloads ).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Plan, develop, and execute testing to validate a CPU in emulation and silicon platforms.

  • Work with architecture, designers, & pre-silicon verification teams to drive debug of critical functional issues.

  • Build a commanding full-stack knowledge of CPU micro-architecture, ARM ISA architecture, low level programming, operating systems, and applications.

  • Gain knowledge, experience, and best practices in validating state-of-the-art CPU’s.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, ECE or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Proficiency in CPU architectures (ARM knowledge is desirable), HW/SW interface, and possess strong debugging skills

  • Exposure to state-of-the-art CPU design and verification.

  • Strong programming skills (assembly, C, Perl/Python).

  • At least 6 years of meaningful ASIC or CPU verification experience

  • Demonstrate dedication, enthusiasm, and proactive initiative complemented by excellent analytical skills

The base salary range is $156,000 - $287,500. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
