We are looking for a passionate, extraordinary Deep Learning engineer for the Metropolis team as an Architect/Senior System Software Engineer to develop software that is used to build smarter cities. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.
What you will be doing:
Create custom deep learning models for computer vision tasks like image processing and classification, object detection, and semantic segmentation using transfer learning. Ensure the best possible performance on current- and next-generation GPU architectures.
Architect, design and use your coding expertise to optimize, deploy and productize AI models. Write effective, maintainable, and well-tested code
Collaborate closely with the architecture, research, libraries and tools teams at NVIDIA to achieve ideal results for AI problems at hand
What we need to see:
A Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science related field or equivalent experience
10+ years of relevant work experience. 5+ years in Machine Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, ONNX Runtime, and TensorRT
Strong knowledge of C/C++, python and firsthand experience with parallel programming, ideally CUDA C/C++.
Understanding of modern techniques in Machine Learning, Deep Neural Networks, Generative AI with meaningful contributions to major open-source projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work in a dynamic and distributed team. History of mentoring junior engineers and interns is a plus.
Strong computer science fundamentals - algorithms and data structures, computational complexity, parallel and distributed computing, system software.
Background with container technologies, such as dockers will be a bonus

The base salary range is $216,000 - $333,500. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
