Senior Graphics Engineer
NVIDIA DRIVE® embedded supercomputing platforms process data from camera, radar, and lidar sensors to perceive the surrounding environment, localize the car to a map, then plan and execute a safe path forward. This AI platform supports autonomous driving, in-cabin functions, and driver monitoring, plus other safety features—all in a compact, energy-efficient package. We need passionate, hard-working and creative people to help us take on more of these challenging opportunities in Autonomous Driving and In-Car Infotainment.
What you’ll be doing:
Working in our Tegra Solutions Engineering Business Unit responsible for building and supporting our graphics system software, including safety-critical code.
Design, Implement and Optimize Rendering Engines to realize Parking and Surround Views for the Cars
Help Automotive customers build rich Graphical UI for the next generation In-Vehicle Infotainment Systems and Visualization Interface
Triage, debug and optimize various Software issues within the graphics software drivers including Vulkan, OpenGL and EGL on embedded devices.
Interface with Customers for Requirements Gathering and Architecture definition, and collaborate with internal teams to implement the solution.
What we need to see:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
3+ years of work in Rendering engine design and deployment in embedded devices
Experience working on modern 3D graphics APIs like OpenGL, OpenGL-ES, Vulkan, or Direct3D.
Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills combined with a dedication to tackle hard problems.
Excellent OS fundamentals and knowledge of low-level drivers of Linux/QNX
In-depth knowledge of GPU and CPU architecture.
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with ISO26262 Software Certification or ASPICE.
Knowledge of Computer vision and 3D/2D Geometry
Background with X11, Wayland, or similar window systems.
Experience in Pre-Silicon/Post-Silicon or Board bring up.
Flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multinational, multi-time-zone corporate environment.
