Senior Mechanical Engineer, Liquid Cooling Solutions
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical engineering department as a key player in the development of liquid Cooling solutions for our next generation Network Switches! This key position includes owning the product and fixtures design, close interaction with HW, PMC (Product management & configuration), NPI, Thermal, Layout, Quality and Supply chain groups.

What you’ll be doing:
Designing the liquid Cooling solutions for the next generation of Nvidia switches, including power, thermal, and environmental requirements.
Designing the detailed mechanical aspects of liquid cooling solutions, manifolds, cold plates, heat pipes, attachment to heat sources, liquid hoses, liquid chemistry, liquid connection features, module assembly.
Proposing multiple early design concepts while working in fast-paced product development cycles.
Independently leading product design from concept, design for manufacturing, detailed design and initial bring up. Additionally, support through Qualification, NPI, Mass production and field installation stages.
Supporting and leading task forces to investigate and support production excursions, failure analysis and reliability issues.
Collaborating in research of ground-breaking technologies, materials, and processes with other groups to bring in creative ideas that solve ever growing needs.
What we need to see:
B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering degree or higher
5+ years of experience in mechanical product design.
Proven experience in development of liquid cooled systems.
Established experience with 3D CAD. Creo is an advantage.
Self-motivated with a sharp learning curve and able to work independently and as a teammate.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew
Knowledge of manufacturing raw materials, Hardware fasteners, finishing and coatings
Ability to lead multiple tasks while being very well organized
Hands on experience – ability to assemble what you designed & train others to do so
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience in working with supply chains, sub contract manufacturers and leading resources such as consultants, component suppliers, contractors, and manufacturing partners
Agile, PDP or other product management system (PLM), and mechanical stress simulation tools
Experience in IDF file exchange with Layout engineers
Background in development and implementation/training of new design and flow methodologies
Experience in developing fixtures/jigs for product assembly/testing
