We are now looking for a Senior Parking Perception Engineer!
NVIDIA is hiring Parking Perception Engineers for its Self Driving Perception team. Academic and commercial groups around the world are powering a revolution in artificial intelligence using deep learning techniques running on NVIDIA GPUs, enabling breakthroughs in problems from image classification to speech recognition to natural language processing. Intelligent machines powered by AI computers that can learn, reason and interact with people are no longer science fiction. Today, a self-driving car powered by AI can meander through a country road at night and find its way. An AI-powered robot can learn motor skills through trial and error. What you’ll be doing:
Invent and apply state-of-the-art DL/CV algorithms to improve existing parking perception tasks, such as parking space detection and near-field obstacle avoidance.
Develop software stack for integrating parking perception algorithms into NVIDIA driving software library.
Co-work with various internal product and research teams contributing toward building a self-driving parking perception software solution as well as partners and customers.
What we need to see:
You should have experience directing and have success with shipping software products.
Expertise in at least one of below directions: 1) SLAM, object tracking and visual odometry. 2) Deep learning algorithms, machine learning and computer vision.
Excellent programming, software design, and testing skills in Python, C++.
3+ years of work experience.
Masters or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or related field.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Previous working experience in AV perception or parking related products
Good paper records in top CV/ML conference such as CVPR/ICLR/ICCV/ECCV/NIPS
Background with data-parallel and/or accelerated computing (CUDA, OpenCL).
Experience with parallel programming skills like CUDA, OPENCL, NEON.
