Senior Silicon Validation Engineer

Working in the Silicon Solutions Engineering team, you will be responsible for validation & debugging of all current and future silicon at NVIDIA. Work as part of a team with logic design, circuit design, architects & board engineers to ensure successful product development with aggressive product cycles. The qualified candidate should be comfortable in a lab environment and should demonstrate a passion towards creation, execution and improvement of silicon validation plans.
What you will be doing:
Participate in silicon bringup & post-silicon validation of new silicon with the objective of driving it to mass production.
Develop new methodologies to improve the silicon validation process through automation and equipment enhancements.
Craft creative solutions and workarounds through lab experimentation and volume data analysis to ensure electrical compliance of high-speed analog blocks like SERDES, PLL, FLL.
Drive root-cause analysis efforts of hardware failures through lab experimentation and collaboration with Design teams within NVIDIA.
Support Application Engineering and Platform teams to resolve issues related but not limited to Signal and Power Integrity.
Drive design improvements for future product based on what is found in the lab.
What we need to see:
BS or MS degree in EE/CE or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant experience in silicon bring-up and post silicon validation activities.
Strong EE fundamentals, power and signal integrity, analog blocks and computer architecture.
Proficient in the usage of electrical measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, BERTs & spectrum analyzers.
Strong data analysis skills. Prior experience working with volume data is a plus.
Validated hands-on lab experience with silicon bringup and lab debug.
Excellent problem solving, debugging, analysis and logical reasoning skills with examples to prove it
Understanding of PCB layout and high speed board design issues
Scripting skills (Python & JavaScript)

The base salary range is $124,000 - $247,250. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
