Senior Software Architect

NVIDIA is looking for a creative hands-on Architect to shape the future of Data Centers monitoring and management solutions as a part of the NVIDIA Software Architecture Team. Being part of the architecture team you will influence large cross company solutions and have an ability to participate in open source projects and communities. Deep dive into emerging technologies, define and prove your architecture! 

What you'll be doing:

• Identify and evaluate new technologies, innovations, and partner relationships to define a strategy of NVIDIA networking and Data Center management.

• Improve and design networking APIs and frameworks to enable advanced Data Center management and monitoring leveraging the Big Data analytics platforms in cloud environment. 

• Architect the solution, implement PoCs, handle multi-component integrations based on NVIDIA and 3rd party technology stack (from the data ingestion to the decision making.)

What we need to see:

• BSc. or MSc. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

• 5+ years experience in Software Design.

• Good understanding of the Telemetry and Automation technologies along with modern application platforms and paradigms.

• Knowledge of network stacks (Ethernet/IP, IB) is a noticeable benefit.

• Experience in modern application deployment and orchestration solutions  is an advantage.

• Proven record to stay ahead of technology envelope, understand state-of-the-art research, dabble into new technologies to develop practical applications, and generate innovative ideas.

• Clear verbal and written communication with a consistent record to build consensus within a large organization.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Demonstrated ability to prototype ideas and demonstrate their value.

• Knowledge of cloud-native development and deployment methodologies (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS).

• Experience with DC virtualization solutions (OpenStack, KVM.)

• Background with data-center design and technologies.

• Knowledge of data center networking and monitoring best practices.

• Contribution to open-source communities.

• Familiarity with network automation tools and application simulation.
