We are looking for an outstanding Autonomous Vehicle Radar Perception Software Engineer to develop and productize NVIDIA's autonomous driving solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
An analytical algorithm specialist investigating and improving performance of radar object tracking and environment perception for multi-sensor fusion and function customers.
Developing highly efficient product source code for production applications.
Improving the robustness and computational efficiency of perception algorithms to fully enable autonomous driving anywhere and anytime.
Assisting the team as we scale up, adapt, and improve perception software across different hardware/software/test platforms, including HW chipsets and operating system variants (e.g, Linux, QNX), embedded vs cloud, and real drive vs simulation.
Working closely with our customer's engineers (function and fusion teams) in requirements development, testing, validation, issue triage, bug reporting, and bug closure to satisfy NCAP requirements and exceed end customer expectations.
Improving and maintaining software implementation quality to meet industry standards.
What we need to see:
BS, MS or PhD in engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of work experience.
Experience with radar tracking and issue closure in related to challenging real world scenarios.
Expertise in optimal estimation.
C++ and Python programming.
Experience working on resource limited and/or embedded platforms.
Experience in relevant systems engineering activities such as requirements, DFMA, and v-model.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Background applying radar solutions in the automotive domain and resolving customer issues for time critical deliveries.
Passion for numerical computing and algorithm applications
Experience with machine learning and/or deep learning inference integration.
Experience with multi-sensor fusion with radar, camera, lidar, and ultrasonic sensors.
Knowledge of radar waveforms and signal processing.
