We are now looking for Senior Systems Software Engineer, AI Streaming Software! Academic and commercial groups around the world are powering a revolution in artificial intelligence using deep learning techniques running on NVIDIA GPUs, enabling breakthroughs in problems from image classification to speech recognition to natural language processing. NVIDIA is looking for a hardworking Sr. Systems Software Engineer to work on platform software based on open-source container runtimes and Kubernetes technologies. We expect you to have strong programming skills, devops experience, a deep understanding of designing and building software, especially related to GO and C, experience with Systems Software and Distributed systems, as well as excellent communication and planning skills. We also welcome out-of-the-box problem solvers who can provide new ideas while strong at completing tasks. Expect to be constantly challenged, improving, and evolving for the better.

What you’ll be doing:

• You'll be part of a team that explores innovative ways to make GPU and DPU accelerated applications easier to develop, deploy, and monitor.

• Work on enabling GPUs and DPUs as first-class resources in container orchestrators such as Kubernetes.

• Work with engineering teams across all of NVIDIA to ensure your software integrates seamlessly up and down the stack.

• Designing microservice architecture for Cloud-native applications addressing different requirements such as scaling, deployments, security.

• Drive tooling solutions to achieve objectives and goals.

What we need to see:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 8+ years of relevant work experience.

• Strong understanding of Container Orchestration Systems (K8s) and Container Technology.

• Expert knowledge and experience working with System internals of Unix/Unix-like kernels such as Linux.

• Automation experience with hands-on skills in frameworks like Ansible & Terraform.

• Strong background in Cloud Computing and Distributed Software design and development.

• Understanding of performance, security and reliability in complex distributed systems.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Real world strong hands-on experience with Containers and Kubernetes.

• Hands-on experience with Cloud cost management and optimization and building tools around these areas.

• Able to think creatively to debug and solve complex problems.

• Cloud solution architect certification.

The base salary range is $176,000 - $270,250.
