Senior System Software Engineer, Attestation and Signing Services

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take charge of the building platforms that elevate our Attestation, Code Signing and Confidential Compute strategy. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in security, cloud technologies and distributed systems to own the design, development and management of security solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partner across multiple product engineering teams to enable and drive adoption of strong cryptographic and security engineering practices and controls.

• Build secure cloud architecture using NVIDIA's private cloud and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc.

• Design and build microservices deployed in containerized environment using Kubernetes/Docker

• Champion infrastructure as code practice using automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.

• Utilize and contribute to unified cloud service frameworks by building modularized re-usable components

• Solve application reliability, scalability and usability challenges and manage multi data center deployments

• Evaluate new security controls/service offerings from CSP vendors and build custom security solutions to match NVIDIA's specific requirements

What we need to see:

• BS or MS in Computer Science Engineering or a related field of study (or equivalent experience).

• 8+ years of experience in architecting, designing and implementing software engineering solutions, preferably in product development space.

• Experience with architecting and deploying security services on cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, and preferably in other CSPs such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including hybrid private-public cloud architecture.

• Strong knowledge and implementation experience implementing and/or utilizing cryptographic algorithms such as hashing, signing, and certificate generation

• Experience with AuthN/AuthZ concepts and frameworks to secure production and corporate access, such as SSO, SAML Federated Identity, RBAC, IAM policies etc.

• Experience in securing containerized Kubernetes environments using AWS EKS, and/or Google GKE.

• Solid programming experience with Java and Python languages and relevant frameworks such as Spring Framework.

• Strong experience in building scalable and reliable REST APIs using Spring boot or similar frameworks

• Background with building and maintaining distributed and scalable solutions deployed in multiple cloud data centers, regions and availability zones.

• Experience with threat modeling using tools such as Microsoft Threat Modeling Tool would be preferred.

The base salary range is $176,000 - $333,500.
