Nvidia is hiring a
Senior System Software Engineer
NVIDIA is searching for a Senior System Software engineer for the development of a scalable training pipeline for various 3D Reconstruction methods using microservices architecture pattern for NVIDIA Metropolis. Metropolis is an application framework that simplifies the development, deployment and scale of AI-enabled video inference and analytics applications from edge to cloud.
We are looking for a strong distributed systems engineer who has worked on cloud native, secure, fault tolerant and configurable systems. Key focus would be in implementing training pipelines and having written modular and scalable microservices.
What you will be doing:Working in an agile software development mode and collaborating with globally distributed research and engineering teams to deliver sophisticated 3D Reconstruction AI microservices services and applications.
Design a configurable and extensible training pipeline with flexible API for running Job that supports multiple data formats, NeRF methods and output transcoded formats
Modularize research code, package it and use it in the training pipeline steps
Build, Containerize, Test and package using automated CI tools like Jenkins
Deploy and maintain microservices on standardized Kubernetes based platform on different cloud service providers
Develop a framework for ingestion, processing of image/video datasets. Optionally determine the camera pose for each 2D image frame using different Sfm methods.
Support training using multiple NeRF based methods to arrive at a 3D reconstruction model.
Transcode the learned 3D model to different output formats like USD, OBJ
B.E, B.Tech, M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent engineering qualification.
Strong programming skills in one these languages - Python, C++, Java, Golang
Proven expertise in design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
7+ years of experience in designing and developing microservices, frameworks, and libraries for data ingestion and processing.
Validated expertise in building cloud native distributed systems composed of microservices, event driven components and data pipelines.
Experience with containerization using Docker and helm based deployments to Kubernetes
Exposure to one of the Deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch will be beneficial
Experience in 3D Reconstruction techniques and/or computer vision tasks
Experience in developing training pipelines with flexibility to support different data formats, training methods and data integrations to external storage systems.
