We are engaged in the key areas of the automotive business where visual computing & AI matters for Autonomous Driving (AD) as well as Centralized Car Computer.
Autonomous Driving and Centralized Car Computer Vehicles need a supercomputer on wheels, it's an AI & SW heavy computational challenge. There isn't an off-the-shelf platform that stands up to this challenge, so we are building our own.What you'll be doing:
We are looking for specialist Automotive System SW Engineers based in Shenzhen to work closely with NVIDIA global team to develop and deliver the Centralized Car Computer platform SW to OEMs, Tier1 and engage customer design, and develop Autonomous driving ECU production.
Bring extensive development experience and a passion for innovation.
Engaged with outstanding Autonomous driving and Centralized Car Computer customers to provide customized product features, technical support for scalable autonomous driving computing platform from L2 to L5 as well as Centralized Car Computer platform, analyze complex autonomous driving & Cockpit technical issues as well as independent driving resolution across multiple teams.
You will develop and deliver software for Centralized Car Computer Platform based on NVIDIA Orin/Thor SOC and next-generation SOC.
Communicate readily with your peers across the organization, building relationships and collaborating effectively.
BS or MS in EE/CS or related fields (or additional equivalent experience) with 5+ years of significant work and product experience.
Deep understanding of Linux/QNX/Android Automotive operating system and programming languages in C++ and C.
Experience working on sophisticated automotive systems on the Linux/QNX/Android Automotive Kernel, BSP, drivers (e.g. Ethernet, Camera, Serializer/Deserializer, Display, PCIe, eMMC, UFS, etc.), and Android Automotive HAL (e.g. Display, Graphics, Audio, BT/WiFi, VHAL, Power, etc). Having virtualization/Hypervisor and display virtualization, Audio Virtualization development experience is a plus.
Familiar with ARM architecture and debugging Linux/QNX/Android system performance and stability issues.
Ability to debug at board and chip level and appropriate probing hardware.
Ability to write and oral interpersonal skills in English.
You are self-motivated and work optimally across different functional teams.
Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem-solving, good time management, and task prioritization.
You have experience with Automotive SPICE and/or ISO26262 standards will help you to ramp up quickly in our exciting autonomous driving and CCC customer projects.
Prior experience working in the following areas: Autonomous Driving, Automotive Infotainment, or Cockpit.
You are dedicated and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
