Job Description:

Work with Android/Device OS framework, Android/Device OS application development and Web Technologies. Work as part of the team with a vision and working on technologies that continuously improve Bixby solution integrating with core device services and third-party applications. Act as a catalyst for change, innovating with engineering strategies and technology solutions that meet the company’s business goals and strategies. Employ technical skills in software engineering including modifying aspects of various Android/Device OS frameworks/service modules, optimized design patterns, App Actions & Android/Device OS deep links for development of voice enabled intelligent services with Android/Device OS Applications. Involved in overall design and development process of digital solutions and services. Design and Development of voice enabled modules and applications. Work on technical design and code reviews are critical parts of the software development process. Create optimal design patterns with specific principles relevant to Capsule development including: Implementing Actions; JavaScript functions; Invoking relevant web services; and performing other related functionalities aligning to content provider specific identifiers and pre-conditions. Define UI including: Layouts composing of XML, HTML, CSS to control and customize visual looks; Adapting sideburns for dynamic generating of layouts; and Collection layouts consisting of grouping, plotting and smart-picks. Work on Unit Test case development and aid in automation of test case. Perform training for natural language. 10% domestic and international travel required.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Technologies, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or any IT/engineering/developer related job titles.
  • Requires 3 years of experience in the following:
    • (1) Developing and shipping software solutions in Android and web technologies (Java Script, HTML, CSS).
    • (2) Android/Device OS Application model & framework.
    • (3) Algorithms and programming languages Java, JavaScript and tooling that it requires including ReactJS, Redux and Node.js.
    • (4) Relational/object modeling and API based web service integration via REST and JSON.
    • (5) AI technologies natural language processing, machine learning, knowledge modeling and reasoning) and implementing solutions adapting end to end machine learning lifecycles.
    • (6) Developing server-side components.
    • (7) Java, Perforce, and Git.
    • (8) Scrum and Agile Methodologies.

This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.

$283,442—$303,442 USD
