System Software Engineer
NVIDIA Tegra System software team is looking for engineers who will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art Linux Kernel Software and develop drivers for Tegra NVIDIA SOC. What you’ll be doing:
Selected candidates are required to work with an international team of hardware, system and software engineers in developing software for the next-generation of the Tegra SOC.
Be versed with NVIDIA SoC and Board designs. Actively review schematics, Driver and Board Support package development for the Hardware.
Participating in board bringups, optimizations, performance and process improvements. Writing Safety critical software for safety certified hardware.
Software for various I/O bus and Storage interfaces such as UFS, I2C, SPI, CAN, GPIO, port expanders, QSPI, DMA, Serial interfaces.
Expected to work with Linux and open-source software communities. You will be working with multiple Linux distributions and processor architectures, GNU GCC Toolchain & Makefiles.
Work closely with the Linux Upstream community to Upstream Tegra drivers.
What we need to see:
B.E/B.Tech/MS/M.Tech in Electronics/Computer Science Engineering
2-5 years software development experience with a significant focus on Linux kernel development
Excellent C/C++ programming/debugging skills
Familiarity with ARM Architecture
Ability and flexibility to work and communicate in a multi-national, multi-time-zone environment
Understanding of computer system architecture and operating systems
Demonstrated experience in bringing of a new product to market and supporting it through its lifecycle
Basic scripting knowledge in languages such as Python, Perl.
Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal & written), Great Teammate
