The Golden Register Team within Automotive Software plays a critical role in NVIDIA's expansion into the world of autonomous vehicles. In order to fully use the capabilities of NVIDIA's best engineers, the team helps build software and processes that enable writing safer software & that will save thousands of work hours in the company. The infrastructure we are building is pioneering and you will contribute to its growth. We are hiring now for the position of Systems Software Engineer.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and developing system software, applications and tools for NVIDIA SOC and GPU hardware based platforms.

  • Using your operating systems, computer architecture and product life-cycle knowledge and experience.

  • Working with teams across the company to design and develop processes for safer software

  • Influencing how large teams work, using the set of tools and infrastructure you help develop

  • Developing creative solutions to improve overall efficiency

What we need to see:

  • Masters in Science in EE/CS

  • 1+ years of experience

  • Expertise in C & Python programming

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Understanding of processor architecture fundamentals

  • Proficiency in REST API and scripting languages

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Background in device driver programming for ARM based processors

  • Experience in Pre-Silicon/Post-Silicon bringup of complex SoCs

  • Experience with QNX, and real time programming

  • Ability to learn on the job

  • Experience in Automotive Safety Standards and MISRA-C

  • Demonstrated initiative to resolve large and complex problems
